Aravind walked into the study-- slower than he thought he'd be. He sighed and ran a hand through his hair, locking the door behind him out of pure habit. After a moment, he looked around at the office. His office. His office as a teacher. Ye gods and little fishes.
The office was somewhere between spacious and average-but-empty. He'd put his desk in earlier (petrified white pine-- tough to find, but well worth the effort), two chairs, a rug, and two bookshelves (the books were still unpacked). There was a fairly large picture window taking up about one third of the wall behind the desk, overlooking the forest. Sighing, Aravind turned away from the window and stretched out on the rug in front of his desk, his vest folded under his head. He didn't plan on doing this often, but he hadn't unpacked his gear yet, the day and dinner had exhausted him more than he'd anticipated, and it was handy. After only a moment or two, his breathing had steadied, and he was fast asleep, however lightly.
