Name: Aravind Shiyal, Professor Shiyal to you brats.
Age: 28
Hair color: Dark Brown
Eye color: Gray
Height: 6’ 2¼”
Appearance: Fairly lean and muscular from spending so much time out in the woods, dresses mainly in dark greens and browns, has a ruddy tan, and wears a perpetual scowl and one copper and agate earring (it’s a hoop; no meaning in particular, but the students don’t need to know that).
Biography: When he was ten, he knew he didn't want to spend the rest of his life dealing with people, or sitting at desks. He started spending all his spare time in the woods, hanging out and figuring out how to get revenge on the teenagers who graffiti'd the rocks and trees. At thirteen, he started reading every nature-oriented book he could get his hands on, hanging out around reservations and with park rangers, depending on who was less likely to kick him out at the point, and by the time he was sixteen, he was going to camps every day he wasn't in school. Throw in some obscure training with mountain hermits and some individual learning and wandering, a long history of dealing with idiots who don't understand forests and really think they do, and you've got Aravind, a sarcastic, cynical teacher who isn't sure what's worse: his job here, or the fact that he chose it.
Personality: Part of the reason Aravind is a Ranger is because he likes solitude. He’s also good at it, and yes, enjoys it and considers it his calling, but the lack of annoying people is definitely high up there on the list. He’s got a pretty deep voice, which is mostly drawling, quiet, and nearly without exception, sarcastic—but he can shout pretty cuttingly when he needs to. He dislikes romantics, whiners, and shut-ins, and has no qualms about disliking everyone else, too. Or at least, appearing to – he’s not a total jerk, just inclines that way.
Class taught: Teaches forest-necessary skills: sharpshooting, tracking, hunting, healing, knowing your plantz, knowing your animalz, etc.
Skills: Tracking, Archery, Path-finding, Dealing With Animals, Climbing, etc.
Sue/Stu Traits:
+10 Animal Communication,

+2 Cool Tattoos
+6 Multilingual,
