I've noticed this with a few applications so far, so I just want to remind everyone about this.
The traits system and the point-buy is not balanced well for balanced characters. (Irony, I'm well aware.) The purpose is not to min-max your character for the most bang for your buck straight off. It is to ensure variety by giving you ideas for combinations.
The system is easily broken because you can, with a bit of wriggling, likely buy everything with a bit of work. This does not mean you can or should.
Giving your character enough 'flaws' and normalizers to buy another thirty points of Sue/Stu traits slightly defeats the point of them being Stus and Sues.
And as one last reminder, characters will be able to purchase more traits at the end of each term or after significant in game events, so there's no need to fully inventory your character when they're barely starting.
In short, try and ease up on the detractor buying and mix things up!
