Around 12:30 on monday Damien knocked on the door to the headmistress' office. He peeked inside to see if she was in, and stepped in.
(( I'll assume she's here. ))
"Professor Cutty? I'd like to request a transfer for the demon, Verin, who's in our - mine, Scott and Ulric's - dorm suite. He's a danger to the rest of us there. This morning he woke us up by standing in the doorway with two knives caked with dry blood, and rasping them together. I swear, someday soon one of us isn't going to wake up because of him."
Damien was distressed, obviously, and was making the request on behalf of Scott and Ulric as well. He didn't know that Somariel had told the story earlier that day in the makeshift infirmary.

Professor Cutty looked up from her desk, from something she was writing.
Her office was well appointed, with a large window looking out onto the grounds, and a large built in bookcase that spanned one wall, which was filled with a variety of books, and a few picture frames.
"Ah, yes, I heard about that earlier today. By process of elimination that would make you Damien Griffiths, wouldn't it? I'll call him in to my office to have a talk this week; that should solve everything. Because while I want to ensure everyone feels safe here, forcing someone out of a suite this early in the year when they've hardly had a chance is rather unfair." She smiled at Damien.

"Thank you. I hope we can at least keep it safe for all of us. A psychotic demon isn't helping." He smiled a bit wanly. "I honestly have a bad feeling about him. Giving him a chance will be hard. Still, thank you for talking to him." Damien nodded to her and left again. Well, he'd hoped for more, but honestly, what could he do? She had a point. He might have some good assets. Somewhere. Very deep down. Maybe.

"Very poor show Damien, very, very poor show." Verin appeared from the shadows as soon as the headmistress was not able to see or hear him. "I go to the effort to set up this little game and then you jump the fence. That's cheating, Damien." Verin walked closer to Damien. "If we were in the netherworld right now, she'd own you, body and soul because you had to ask her for help."
Verin was now standing right next to Damien. "Damien, dear boy, you'd do well to play by my rules. Some sparks and flashes aren't all I'm capable of. I could curse you to only tell the truth or something. That'd finish your secret very quickly now, wouldn't it?" He flashed a smile. "I'll let this one slide. But don-" Verin looked confused. Raising his hand, he saw his fingers slowly disappearing. "Oh, not now. I ha-" With a sudden crack of displaced air, Verin completely vanished.

Damien had already opened his mouth, angry about the demon's saying this was 'cheating'. "Oh yeah? Well... uh..." He was cut off as Verin popped out of existance. He was bound to get back some time or other, but it was a relief that he was gone for at least a little while. Half whistling, Damien got back to prepare for next class. Whistling was something obviously meant for better whistlers than him.
