Name: Laquinta Sebuz
Age: 13
Hair color: Snake-colour.
Eye color: green with golden flecks, slitted.
Height: 1m61 (5'3")
Appearance:
Laquinta looks like a normal human, except for her slitted eyes and a head full of live, writhing snakes. She usually has gold-coloured covers over the eyes of the snakes. She has a lightly tanned but otherwise pale skin. Her physique is slender, hasn't got much in the way of chest, but she's still patiently hoping for it.
Her face is incredibly beautiful, a trait most Gorgons share - slightly slanted almond eyes, a gracefully curved nose and soft, rounded lips, framed by high cheekbones. Her eyes are set in her face like emeralds, shining in the sun.
The snakes on her head are a dark green in colour, with black patterning, and have red eyes. Looking in the eyes of the snakes almost invariably turns people into stone, and so she keeps them carefully covered.
Biography:
Laquinta was born in Lefka, Greece, about 30km North-East of Athens, to a Greek mother and a Spanish father, both Gorgons. Her father, Pajino, had moved back from Spain where he was born from an emigrated family, and her mother, Petra, is a native family of the area. They lived a fairly uncomplicated, simple but comfortable life in Lefka, a village of few people and even less publicity.
Her parents had been saving up money for their daughter's education, and needed to decide on a safe place to do so when their gaze fell on a stray pamphlet for St. Dymphna's Academy in the post office. They contemplated the consequences of sending her to such a large and far-away country as America, but with a bit of heartache recognised that it was probably the best place for her to go.The pooled their savings, and sent their daughter off.
Personality:
She behaves like a bully, mostly. She's rude, tries to order people around, and steals things every now and then. However, it always somehow turns out in such a way that the one she's bullying is actually in trouble themselves, and she somehow shifts the blame to herself. This is facilitated by her innate telepathy, which she uses purely to sense out what the person she's hanging around is in trouble for. She uses it to her advantage to manipulate the situation to focus on her instead of them.
Down below, she's a strong and willful girl with a wide heart, but capable of deciding for herself exactly what she wants to do. She tends to be a bit judgmental. Laquinta dislikes talking to people in general, though makes an exception to people she really likes.
Aside from this, she does work hard to keep her grades up, courtesy of not having a lot of money to go on for her education.
Skills:
Getting into trouble instead of other people
Turning people to stone
Smiling (in any possible way, when she smiles it's almost like verbal communication)
