Appearance: At first glance, Jinna is relatively innocent to the untrained eye -- just a pretty girl with some very unfortunate tattoos, clothed plainly in thin t-shirts and worn jeans. However, those that know her behind the glamour are quite aware that all is not as it seems; behind a bit of simple magic lies a demon. Often scantily clad and sneering, Jinna, in reality, possesses a small-- but still there -- pair of horns atop her head. Slightly pointed ears are usually adorned with some simple hoop earrings; anything larger would probably catch on the dark, purple-grey wings stretching from her shoulderblades. A long, thin (irritatingly sensitive) tail ending in the cliché "devil spike" and a pair of cloven hooves in place of feet complete the succubus ensemble-- neither of which she feels are particularly attractive to either sex, hence the glamour. Unlike the rest of her attributes, the strange markings on her limbs are in no way hideable; this often puts the girl in the hot seat when dealing with the presence of demon hunters. Though as a rule of thumb Jinna is more comfortable in her "natural" state, due to her intense desire to shag anything that moves, she prefers to keep a glamor up whenever possible in hopes of snagging someone who actually DOES fall for plain and innocent rather than scanty and skanky.
Biography: Some people are born to play the piano. Some are born to write great novels. Jinna, however, may be the only person at St. Dymphna's Academy who was, quite literally, born to seduce people.
Blessed at birth with parents who didn't feel like adhering to infant cannibalism-- what can we say? Demons are interesting creatures -- the bouncing baby succubus was taught the guidelines to seducing any old unsuspecting victim from the time she turned eleven, at which point Mother Nature sent her on a rollicking trip to hormone hell and her mother, who'd been praying about as much as a demon could that it might hold off for a few more years, was forced to begin showing her how to hunt humans.
Things took an interesting turn around her twelfth birthday, when Jinna's mother accidentally targeted and seduced a demon hunter. This led in turn to the young succubus watching her mother be slaughtered by what was SUPPOSED to be nothing more than another single-minded prey creature... and then to the girl fleeing for her life as her father took on the hunter and met the same fate.
Left orphaned and to her own devices, Jinna spent almost a solid year hidden behind a glamour, trying to figure out how to avoid demonhunters and keep fed at the same time. Just as things began to look grim, an old friend of her mother's -- another succubus-- found the girl and resumed her teachings. Jinna was quite content with this arrangement... until said friend took it upon herself to enrol Jinna in a school miles from their home, feeling that possessing an education might somehow aid her mission in life... given that one did not require arithmetic to know how to make eyes at someone, Jinna was mystified as to why her foster mother felt this way, but all attempts to thwart the enrolment ended up nothing more than failure.
And so it was that St. Dymphna's was to be graced with the presence of the hormonal timebomb that was Jinna.
Personality: Jinna is fairly transparent as far as her personality goes; leering at someone can only be perceived as innocent staring for so long before they begin to suspect, after all. The girl doesn't often operate in "normal" mode, per sé. If she isn't busily trying to hook another poor sucker into a romp in a closet, then she's prowling around in hunter mode, trying to find someone who looks like an easy enough target. As a rule of thumb she isn't terribly interested in a challenge; she merely chases those she won't have to work too hard to seduce. This can be swayed on the odd occasion, but not too often. On an offhand note, the easiest way for those with magic would be to call up a thunderstorm; besides being sleepy, nothing reverses Jinna's stalk-and-pounce urge like a threatening storm.
As far as her work ethic for school goes... she has little to none. Her interest in most class subjects is lukewarm at best, and given that she never wanted to go to school in the first place, pulling a passing grade may be nothing short of a miracle.
