Appearance: Emilia Evangeline has chocolate-brown skin which perfectly sets off her large, sparkling sapphire-blue eyes. Her ebony tendrils of hair cascade gracefully to her feet, and she wears it loose for effect. She moves with the natural grace of the dancer she is, even though she always seems to be wearing extremely high heels. Emilia Evangeline dresses casually most of the time, though she does own some stunning dresses and, of course, looks perfect in anything she wears. She carries a lily-pad-shaped umbrella with her all the time -- except when it's raining -- and has explained that it is actually a talisman given to her by her birth-parents when she was too young to remember. She is quite fond of the color green, and always seems to be able to make outfits in clashing shades of the color work perfectly.
Biography: Emilia Evangeline was born in the country of Ravenlaque, and her family was very influential. However, because the climate in Ravenlaque is bad for children, she was sent away to Paris to live with a foster family. She has taken their name, though she expects to reclaim her birth name when she reaches her majority. Emilia Evangeline's birth family have long been the Protectors of the Elements, and, though she does not know it, she will one day inherit the title of Water Protector. As such, she has control over water, though she does not yet know how to control it very well. She was placed at St. Dymphna's by her concerned foster family when it became apparent that the constant rain inside the house was caused, not by a leaking fire-extinguishing system, but by Emilia Evangeline's unwillingness to clean her room. They hope that the staff at St. Dymphna's will help her control these powers, or at least keep her from making it rain inside the house.
Personality: Emilia Evangeline considers herself superior to majority of the students at St. Dymphna's, not only because she has elemental powers, but because her foster family is the descended from French Nobility. The fact that they no longer have any kind of status at all in modern France seems not to have occurred to Emilia Evangeline as of yet. She has a tendency to tell others how to live their lives whether they want her to or not, and perpetually wants to be in charge. None of these things really make her different from the other students at St. Dymphna's, and as such she plans to spend much of her first year so far in a bad temper. Though she can be charming when she wants to be, Emilia Evangeline's primary concern is herself, and she views others more as tools or lackeys than individuals with personalities and value in their own right.
