It was early in the morning, before classes had started, when Jean-Paul sindled nonchalantly along the corridors leading to Professor Freeman's office. This, in and of itself, was suspicous, given that Jean-Paul's normal mode of locomotion when indoors was a sort of shady-looking mobile loom. For Jean-Paul, not looking suspicious was a dead giveaway that something was up, and anyone with either a decent familiarity with body language (or a decent familiarity with Jean-Paul) would have been able to tell immediately. Of course, they would have to have had some extremely good training in stealth to avoid being noticed...
Jean-Paul, totally ignorant of the exposition going on around him, knocked softly on the door to the Professor's office, and called out, "Professor Freeman? Are you there?"
